Introduction
Drivers can view their current Safety Score on the Safety Hub. When the score updates, a new task called Safety Score Update appears in the Safety Tasks widget for quick access.
Steps: Viewing the Safety Score on Driver App
1. Log in to your Driver App and tap the Menu icon.
2. To access the Safety Hub:
- Tap the hamburger icon in the left-hand corner and choose Safety from the menu.
OR - Scroll down on the Home screen and tap on the Safety section.
3. Tapping on the Safety section leads to the Safety Hub. The Safety Hub displays the following:
- Tasks to Review: Pending tasks to be reviewed by the driver. The Safety Score Update task will appear here whenever the Safety score gets updated.
- Safety Score: The Safety Score widget displays the current score of the driver for the indicated time period (rolling 4-week window).
Note: The Safety Score updates weekly based on safety event volume. Reducing events improves the score, while an increase causes it to decline. |
4. Click on Safety Score update or on the Safety Score widget to explore the Safety Score details screen.
5. The Safety Score Update screen features information on score changes, driver ranking, behavior impact, and the 12-week score trend.
6. The top widget compares the latest score with the previous one, indicating the score category. It also displays the next Score update date. Event rate and miles-driven details with percentage changes are provided.
7. Your Score Rankings widget displays the rank of the driver in the fleet and the different groups they are part of, if any.
8. The behaviors widget shows the top behaviors influencing the Safety Score and their impact on the score. The arrows indicate changes:
- Red up arrow: Increased impact of behavior from the previous Score
- Green down arrow: Decreased impact of behavior from the previous score
Clicking on a particular behavior takes you to the Behavior Insights screen.
Note: Multiple behaviors can impact your Safety Score like Distractions, Close following, Speeding, and Hard braking etc. |
9. The 12-week score trend widget illustrates the Safety Score trend over 12 weeks.
10. Once reviewed, click Mark as Reviewed.
Steps: How to view Behavior Insights on the Driver App
Drivers can delve into detailed insights about specific behaviors affecting their Safety Score on the Behavior Insights screen.
1. Click the particular behavior task from:
- The Tasks to Review widget, and then on the behavior screen, click the Behavior insights card.
- Tap the particular behavior on the Safety Score Update screen.
2. The first card inside the behavior insights compares the driver's performance on this behavior to the previous score period.
3. Below that, drivers can review various events tagged under this behavior.
4. The trend graph depicts Events/1000 miles for the behavior over 12 weeks.
