Introduction
To enable access to Timecards in the Fleet Dashboard, Fleet Admins can create new roles or edit existing roles to grant the appropriate permissions.
Steps: Enabling access to Timecards in the Fleet Dashboard
1. Log in to the Motive Fleet Dashboard and click the Admin icon.
2. Click Fleet Users.
3. Click Roles & Permissions.
4. Click Create Role to create a new role.
5. If you want to edit an existing role, click Options > Edit under the Actions column for that role.
6. To select Timecards permissions for the Fleet Dashboard, scroll to the Workforce section or type in the search bar.
7. Checkmark View Timecards to allow fleets to view timecards.
8. Checkmark Edit Timecards to enable fleets to propose edits to timecards submitted by Drivers.
9. Click Create. The new role is created with the Timecards permissions enabled.
10. To add fleet users to this role, click the Users tab.
11. For the selected fleet users, click Options and select Edit Roles & Groups from the dropdown.
12. Select the role that is required for this specific fleet user to have access to.
13. Click Save to finish.
