Introduction:
RFID cards are a faster way for drivers to log in and start recording drive time. In this guide, we will learn how to check the connectivity status of an RFID reader through the Fleet Admin Dashboard.
Steps: Checking the connectivity status of RFID reader
1. Log in to Fleet Dashboard and click Fleet View from the navigation bar on the left.
2. Click Vehicles and search for the vehicle name.
3. Select the Vehicle and click the Edit button in the right corner.
4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and check the RFID Reader status under the ID Reader section.
5. If the RFID Reader is powered up and connected to the Vehicle Gateway, the status will be Installed
| Note: The serial number (S/N) on the vehicle page should be the same as the one mentioned on the back side of the RFID reader. |
6. If the RFID Reader is not powered up or is disconnected from the Vehicle Gateway, the status will be Disconnected.
