The Motive Driver App enables drivers to easily complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections (DVIRs) on a mobile device. Using inspections in the app streamlines daily routines, supports vehicle safety, and helps with regulatory compliance.
Overview
The Motive Driver App offers a streamlined, paperless method for completing inspections while ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Easy navigation: Inspection tools are accessible in just a few taps, making it simple to start a pre-trip or post-trip check. Clear menus guide drivers through each step to ensure nothing is overlooked.
- Efficient defect reporting: Drivers can log and describe defects directly in the app. Photos and notes give maintenance teams the information they need to address issues quickly.
- Proactive safety: Completing inspections before and after every trip helps confirm the vehicle is safe to operate. This practice also reduces the risk of roadside violations or mechanical issues.
- Paperless compliance: Digital reports meet FMCSA requirements for DVIRs. This eliminates the need for paper forms while keeping inspection history easily accessible.
