Requesting changes to your home screen
To update your home screen, contact your fleet manager. They can customize your layout in the Motive Dashboard by adding, removing, or rearranging shortcuts and third-party app links. Once the updates are made, changes will appear in your Driver App after the next sync or when you restart the app.
Adding templates in the driver hub
Fleets with Enterprise subscription plans are able to customize their home screen to create a personalized experience for a set of Drivers, letting Fleet Admins customize the widgets to display and the order in which they are displayed.
- Go to the Motive Fleet Dashboard and click the Admin icon.
- Click the Driver App.
- Click on + Create Template.
- On the Create Template page, fill in the Driver Hub Template Details.
- Drag and drop the widgets and features that you want to add to your Driver App home screen.
- Review the widgets you added under Driver App Preview and click Save.
- A message pops up confirming the creation of your Driver App template.
Assigning templates to drivers and groups
- Go to the Motive Fleet Dashboard > Driver App > Driver Hub.
- Find the template you want to assign and click its three-dot menu.
- Select Assign from the dropdown menu.
- Search for drivers or groups to assign the selected template.
- Click Assign once you have selected all the drivers and groups you want to assign this template.
- Review the information and click Confirm.
- A message pops up confirming the template is assigned to the selected drivers and groups.
| Note: Make sure to select the correct intended user. You will not be able to assign a template intended for Logs Required drivers to a Driver who is on Electronic Logbook compliance mode. |
Deleting a Driver App template
- Go to the Motive Fleet Dashboard and click on the Admin icon.
- Click the Driver App.
- From the Driver Hub tab, find the template you want to delete and click its three-dot menu.
- Select Delete from the dropdown.
- Click Yes, I'm sure from the prompt.
- A message pops up to confirm the deletion of the selected template.
