The Co-Drivers feature in the Motive Driver App supports team driving by allowing multiple drivers to log in, switch roles, and maintain compliant records. This helps fleets ensure smooth transitions, accurate logs, and compliance with hours of service (HOS) regulations.
Overview
The Co-drivers and team driving features in the Motive Driver App give fleets flexibility and compliance for multi-driver operations. By centralizing account management and log handling, Motive simplifies team driving on the road. Key features include:
- Efficient team management: Drivers can easily add, switch, and remove co-drivers within the app. This streamlines team operations and prevents delays.
- Regulatory compliance: The feature ensures hours of service logs remain accurate for every driver. This helps fleets meet compliance requirements.
- Quick access: Team driving status and co-driver information can be viewed or updated from a single screen. This reduces the time spent navigating multiple menus.
- Enhanced visibility: Both primary and co-drivers can manage their own profiles and logs. This allows each driver to stay on top of their compliance responsibilities.
