View and Edit Adverse Driving Conditions Exception

Motive Fleet Dashboard allows Fleet Managers and Fleet Admins to view when their fleets have adverse driving conditions exceptions applied to their following day’s logs.

 

Viewing and Editing Adverse Driving Conditions Exception on Fleet Dashboard 

1. Log in to the Motive Fleet Dashboard and click Compliance in the left-hand side menu.

2. Click Logs to view a list of all the logs.

3. From the list of Driver logs, select the log for the current day or use filters. Doing so will open the selected log’s details.

4. If the driver has availed an Adverse Driving Conditions Exception, there will be an Exceptions notification stating the adverse conditions exception applied.

5. Click Edit to make changes.

6. To remove the existing applied exception, you can click the Reject button from the banner.

7. You can also click the three-dots menu and select Remove from the dropdown.

8. A pop-up appears for confirmation. Deleting this remark would remove the exception from the log and may result in HOS violations. Click OK.

9. Click Save to apply the changes. Once saved, a log suggestion is sent to the driver for approval.

 

Using Adverse Driving Conditions Exception in the Driver App

  1. Log in to the Motive Driver App and tap Logs. normal.png
  2. On the Logs screen, select the current day’s log. normal (1).png
  3. Tap the + button in the bottom-right corner. normal (2).png
  4. From the Select an action list, choose Take adverse conditions exception

Once the exception is applied, a banner for the Adverse Driving Conditions Exception appears, and a remark is automatically added to the log.

Edit or remove the exception

To modify or remove the exception from the current day’s log:

  1. Tap the banner showing the applied exception.

  2. Select Edit or Delete as needed. normal (6).png
