Hide Unidentified Automatically Annotated Trips

Automatic annotation for Yard Move can classify unidentified trips inside geofenced yards. Fleets can optionally hide these annotated trips from the Driver App while keeping full visibility in the Fleet Dashboard.

Overview

  • Unidentified trips completed within geofenced yards can be automatically annotated using Motive’s automatic annotation for the Yard Move feature, helping fleets stay compliant while reducing manual work. However, these trips still appear in the Driver App for review, requiring Drivers to claim or reject them manually.
  • To simplify the experience, fleet managers can now choose to hide these automatically annotated trips from the Driver App while retaining visibility in the Fleet Dashboard.
  • Regulations require all trips to be either annotated or assigned. This feature is particularly useful for fleets that typically perform just one of these actions, rather than both.
  • This setting is optional and disabled by default on the Fleet Dashboard. It is especially useful for larger fleets to reduce clutter, ensure regulatory compliance, and prevent Drivers from accidentally claiming trips that do not belong to them.
