Introduction
Positive Driving Events enable fleets to recognize and reinforce safe driving behaviors alongside unsafe behavior coaching. This feature highlights actions such as alert driving and safe distancing, helping fleets build a more balanced and proactive safety culture.
What’s new?
Fleets can now identify and recognize positive driving behaviors directly within the Motive platform.
This update introduces:
- Positive behavior detection: Detects behaviors such as Alert driving and Safe distancing
- New coaching statuses:
- Deserves recognition — for positive driving behavior
- Recognized — for acknowledged events
- Coaching workflow integration: Positive events now appear in coaching sessions before unsafe behaviors
- Driver App experience:
Drivers receive notifications and can review and mark positive events as reviewed - Automation controls: Fleets can automatically mark positive events as Deserves recognition
- Centralized configuration: Manage settings under Admin → Safety → Behavior Detection
