AI Dashcam Plus Support in Device Hub

Introduction

Device Hub now supports AI Dashcam Plus, giving fleet managers a single place to view, manage, and troubleshoot AI Dashcam Plus alongside their existing Vehicle Gateways and Dashcams in the Motive Fleet Dashboard.

What’s New?

  • AIDC+ in Device Hub: AI Dashcam Plus devices now appear across Device Hub, including the Overview, Vehicles, Cameras, and Device Status Report views, so fleets can see AIDC+ status next to Vehicle Gateways and other Dashcams without having to switch between Safety and Admin sections.
  • Device details: AI Dashcam Plus device details show dual-facing preview images, last refreshed time, status, key device information, device history timeline, and camera actions such as Request video, Start live stream, Refresh, and Reboot, directly from Device Hub.
  • Aligned AIDC+ statuses: Dashcam status data between AIDC Plus and Device Hub is synchronized so vehicle and device views reflect the most up-to-date AIDC+ connection, power, and install statuses, with updated status handling on the Vehicle and Vehicle Gateway detail pages.

How does this help our customers?

  • Single AIDC+ view: Fleet managers get one view of all their devices, seeing AI Dashcam Plus alongside Vehicle Gateways and other Dashcams in the same Device Hub views they already use.
  • Faster troubleshooting: Live images, real-time status, device history, and AIDC+ camera actions (video request, live stream, refresh, reboot) are available in one place, enabling remote diagnosis and resolution of issues without physically accessing the vehicle or relying solely on drivers.
  • Clear device statuses: Consistent, synchronized AIDC+ statuses across Device Hub reduce confusion about whether a camera is powered off, incorrectly installed, obstructed, or operating normally, helping fleets prioritize the right fixes on the right vehicles.
