Introduction
This integration between FuelCloud and Motive enables customers to sync fuel transaction data into Motive through a Zapier-based workflow that creates fuel purchase records.
FuelCloud is a cloud-based fuel management platform that gives fleet and fuel managers real-time visibility into fuel usage, driver access control, and tank levels through a web dashboard.
Integration Benefits
Using FuelCloud with Motive helps fleets gain the following benefits:
- Prevent fuel theft, loss, and misuse with real-time monitoring and site-level controls across bulk tanks.
- Unify bulk fuel transactions with fleet data for a more complete and accurate view of fuel consumption and costs.
Requirements
Before enabling the integration, make sure the following prerequisites are met:
- The customer has a Motive account with access to the Marketplace so they can install the FuelCloud integration.
- The customer has a FuelCloud account.
- If the customer wants to use FuelCloud’s prebuilt Zapier integration, that flow must be enabled by FuelCloud support. This is optional because customers can still use Motive’s Zapier action in their own Zap workflows.
Steps: Enabling FuelCloud integration with Motive Marketplace
Follow these steps to enable FuelCloud for a user account:
Log in to your Motive Fleet Dashboard and navigate to Marketplace.
- Search for FuelCloud App.
On the app tile, click Learn More.
Now, click the Install button. It will now be installed for your company.
- A case will be generated for Motive Support.
- API Support will confirm the customer's consent and route the case to Partner & Ecosystem Engineering for scoping and enablement.
- Partner & Ecosystem Engineering will reach out to the customer and start the enablement process.
