How to enable Engine-Off Recording

    Introduction

    Engine-Off Recording allows the dashcams to record video when the vehicle’s engine is switched off for 24 hours on large trucks and 45 minutes on light and medium duty vehicles like pickups, vans and cars.

     

    Steps: Enabling Engine-off recording

     

    Enable Engine-Off Recording for fleet

    1. Log into Fleet Dashboard and click on the Admin icon in the left-hand side menu.

    2. Click on Company in the left-hand side menu.

    3. Click on Edit Company Information.

    4. Scroll down to Dashcam Settings and set Engine-Off Recording On from the dropdown menu.

    5. Click Confirm on the Battery depletion reminder.

    6. Click on Save.

    Enable Engine-Off Recording for specific vehicles

    1. Log into Fleet Dashboard and click on the Admin icon in the left-hand side menu.

    2. Click on Vehicles.
    3. Select the vehicle connected with a dashcam, click on the Options dropdown menu and select Edit Vehicle.

    4. Under the Dashcam section, check the Engine-Off Recording box and select On from the dropdown menu.

    5. Click Confirm on the Battery depletion reminder.
