Re-enable / re-connect the Dashcam


    When dashcam is installed with the vehicle engine powered off, the dashcam connects but the vehicle gateway device is not able to detect the dashcam in the vehicle.

    Follow the following troubleshooting steps mentioned below: 

    1. Turn on the vehicle engine and keep it running for about 5 minutes. 
    2. Unplug the dashcam and keep it unplugged for about 5 minutes. 
    3. Keep the engine running during this time ( You may drive if needed )
    4. Now plug in the dashcam back into vehicle gateway USB port. 
    5. This triggers a dashcam connection by vehicle gateway device. 



    Dashcams needs to be re-enabled / re-connected once they have been disabled from fleet admin dashboard or disconnected, installed with the engine powered off. Therefore, kindly make sure that dashcam needs to be installed with the vehicle engine powered on.
