How to Assign an Unfamiliar driver profile to a Non-Company Driver in Face Match

    Introduction

Once you’ve enabled the Face Match option from the Driver Identification Settings from your Motive Admin Dashboard and have the Face Match profiles permissions, you can assign an Unfamiliar driver profile to a Non-Company driver in Face Match.

Once a profile is identified as a 'Non-company driver' , it is recognized in future trips, but cannot be automatically assigned without an official Motive driver account. This is best suited for cases ‘if a mechanic’ or ‘a 3rd party vendor’ drives the vehicle but does not have a driver account.

Note: Face Match requires a dual-facing AI dashcam (DC-54) and is available for customers on the Enterprise & Pro subscription packages. This feature is OFF by default.
    • Driver Privacy: Enabling Face Match AI requires confirmation that all necessary consents have been secured from vehicle operators in accordance with the law. Face Match does not function within the State of Illinois.
