The Dashcam Disconnects Alert feature enables you to monitor and annotate disconnected dashcams directly from your Fleet Dashboard. You can also configure email alerts to receive notifications when a dashcam disconnects, allowing you to assist drivers in reconnecting, maintaining compliance, and avoiding potential issues. This article will guide you through the process of setting up alerts for disconnected dashcams.
Setting up alerts for disconnected dashcams
1. Log in to the Fleet Dashboard and click on the Admin icon.
2. Select Alerts from the PLATFORM dropdown in the left-hand side menu.
3. Click on the + Create Alert button in the top right corner.
4. Name your alert and select Dashcam Disconnect from the alert type drop-down menu.
5. Click Select from the dropdown to select the vehicles for which you want to be Alerted.
6. Choose the alert's trigger range between All Times, Weekdays, and Weekends, or a Custom range.
7. Under the Delivery section click on select and choose Fleet Users, Drivers, or Groups as recipients for the Alerts. You may check all entities to select all Fleet Users.
8. Click Save when done to finish.
