How to set up Document Upload Alert

    Audience Fleet Admins, Fleet Managers

    Introduction

    With the Document Upload Alert feature, Fleet Manager(s) can get immediate notification/alert when a Driver completes a document template on the Motive Driver App. This document upload notification helps the Fleet Admins stay on top of each submitted document to make sure it gets quickly processed as per the Fleet’s workflows.

     

    Steps: Setting up an alert for Document Upload 

    1. Log in to Fleet Dashboard and click the Admin icon. 
    2. Expand the Platform section and click Alerts. 
    3. Click +Create Alert.

    1. Add the Name of the alert and select Document Upload Alert as the alert Type. 
    2. Click Select to choose the Entities for which you want to receive alerts. 

    1. Select the Document Type you want to create an alert for.
    2. You can set the Trigger range for the alerts to All Times, Weekdays, and Weekends or set a Custom range.   

    1. Select Recipients for the alerts. Recipients can be Fleet User/s, Driver/s, or Group/s.
    2. Set Priority as Important and Frequency as Immediate or Scheduled. 

    1. You can select the Method through which you want to receive alerts for document upload. You can select between Email & Notification, Notification only, or Email only. 
    2. To add External Recipients for alerts, expand the External Recipient dropdown and add phone numbers or emails.

    1. Once done, click Save.
