Introduction
The Motive Engine Immobilizer is a hardware device developed by Motive Technologies, Inc. It integrates seamlessly with our Fleet management solutions to provide an added layer of security for vehicles.
| Note: It is recommended to ensure that the vehicle doesn’t experience any power issues. Additionally, a third-party engine immobilizer should not be installed in the vehicle, only a Motive Engine Immobilizer should be installed. |

Engine Immobilizer Overview
1. Log in to the Fleet Dashboard and click the Admin icon in the left-hand side menu.
2. Click the Organization dropdown on the left-hand side.
3. Click Vehicles from the dropdown menu.
3. Click Options in the Action column for the vehicle you want to edit.
4. Click the Edit Vehicle from the dropdown.
5. Scroll down and make sure the vehicle is connected to the Vehicle Gateway.
6. Locate the Engine Immobilizer section and click Assign Engine Immobilizer.
7. Search for the desired Engine Immobilizer.
8. Select the checkbox of the Immobilizer you wish to assign.
9. Click Assign.
10. Scroll up and click Save.
