The Motive Engine Immobilizer provides an effective solution for preventing vehicle theft. Fleet Admins and Managers can easily assign and enable the immobilizer through the Fleet Dashboard using a mobile browser.
| Note: You must have a Vehicle Gateway bundle or already possess a Vehicle Gateway to acquire an engine immobilizer. |
Steps: Assigning Engine Immobilizer to a Vehicle
1. Log in to the Fleet Dashboard using your mobile phone browser, and tap the Admin icon in the left-hand side menu.
2. Tap on Vehicles from the menu on the left-hand side.
3. Locate the desired vehicle and tap tap the three-dot icon at the right corner and select Edit Vehicle from the dropdown.
4. Under the Engine Immobilizer section, tap Assign Engine Immobilizer.
5. From the list, select the checkbox of the Engine Immobilizer you want to assign.
6. Tap Assign to complete the process.
