Introduction
The Motive Engine Immobilizer offers Fleet customers an effective solution to prevent theft and significantly reduce the risk of vehicle theft by implementing advanced security measures. You can now easily assign immobilizers to vehicles using the Fleet Dashboard.
| Note: You must have a Vehicle Gateway bundle or already possess a Vehicle Gateway to acquire an engine immobilizer. |

Engine Immobilizer interacting with Vehicle Gateway
1. Log in to the Fleet Dashboard and click the Admin icon in the left-hand side menu.
2. Click Vehicles from the menu on the left-hand side.
3. Click Options in the Action column for the vehicle you want to edit.
4. Click Edit Vehicle from the dropdown.
5. In the Engine Immobilizer section, click Assign.
6. From the list, select the checkbox of the Engine Immobilizer you want to assign.
7. Click Assign.
Enable vehicle immobilization
1. Log in to the Fleet Dashboard and click Fleet View in the left-hand side menu.
2. Select Live tab and click the Vehicle you need to make changes for.
3. Click Edit.
4. Click Immobilize.
5. A pop-up appears click Immobilize.
Enable vehicle mobilization
1. To enable vehicle mobilization, click Mobilize.
2. A pop-up appears, click Mobilize.
