What is the Audit Log for Motive Cards?

    Introduction

    The Audit Log feature on the Fleet Dashboard lets the Fleets view the changes made to their Motive Card. Fleets can view the card status and settings updates, including the date of changes and the name of the Fleet Manager who made updates.

     

    How the Audit Log for Motive Card Helps You

    • Enhanced visibility: The Audit Log feature has helped the Fleets to get details promptly about the usage and changes made to the Motive Cards. 
    • Better tracking: Fleets can now track their Motive Card’s usage better due to the detailed reporting provided by the Audit Logs feature. 
    Note: The Motive Card Logs under the Audit Log section capture activity starting from April 24th, 2025, onward. Any changes made before that date are still logged in our backend systems and can be shared upon request.

     

    Overview

    The Audit Log feature helps to view: 

    • Card status changes logs (when the card got activated, deactivated, etc.) 
    • Temporary overrides logs 
    • Spend Profile logs

     

    Viewing Motive Card details in the Audit Log tab

    1. Log in to the Fleet Dashboard and click the Admin icon in the bottom left corner.

    2. Click the Platform dropdown.

    3. Select Audit Log from the dropdown menu.

    4. Use the date filter to set if required, as the filters’ selection is optional.

    5. Click the Modified by dropdown.

    6. Click the Fleet user option.

    7. Select the required Fleet user.

    8. Click the Areas dropdown.

    9. Select Cards.

    10. Once the filtered Audit Log screen displays, click the required Audit Log to view the details.

    11. The Cards screen appears to display the changes made by the selected Fleet user on the Motive Card.

    Viewing Temporary overrides logs

    1. Follow steps 1 to 10 from the above section.

    2. The Cards screen displays the Temporary override details.

    Viewing Spend Profile Details

    1. Follow steps 1 to 10 from the above section.

    2. The Cards screen displays the Spend Profile details.
