Fleet View is a comprehensive, real-time command center designed to provide fleet managers and dispatchers with total visibility over their entire mobile operation. By consolidating live vehicle telematics, driver status, and environmental data into a single interactive interface, it enables teams to make informed, proactive decisions that enhance operational efficiency and service reliability. The feature serves as a central hub for managing daily logistics, allowing users to move from passive monitoring to active, high-velocity operational management.

Basics
Live tracking in Fleet View provides real-time monitoring of vehicles, drivers, and assets. It allows fleet managers to optimize routes, manage fleet activity, and respond to incidents as they happen. Key features include:
- Filtering: View subsets of your fleet by type, motion status, duty status, and more.
- Travel groups: See which entities are traveling together in real time.
- Statuses and icons: Instantly recognize the activity of each asset.
- Map controls: Visualize fleet movements with dynamic maps.
- Live location & telematics: Access real-time data for smarter decisions.
- Smart Clustering: Vehicles in dense areas are grouped automatically to reduce map clutter and improve readability.
- Synced Views: Filters and selections stay consistent between the map and list views.
- Saved View: Your last map position and zoom level are restored when you return.
Seeing clusters and entities on Fleet View
Fleet View shows different types of cards on the left, depending on how far in or out you are zoomed on the map.
- When you are zoomed out to the state level, the left panel shows state cluster cards.
- Each state card represents a visible state cluster on the map.
- Each state card shows the state name and the total number of drivers, vehicles, and assets in that state.
- The number shown inside the cluster on the map represents the total entities in that state cluster.
- If your fleet does not use assets, Fleet View does not show an asset count of zero on the card.
- When you zoom in further, Fleet View shows more detailed cards for the entities or travel groups currently visible in the map view.
- At this level, the left panel no longer shows only state summaries. Instead, it can show individual entities or travel groups that are in view.
- These detailed cards can show more specific information, such as Driver ID, HOS, Vehicle MMY, MIL, Asset Type/MMY, Motion detail, and Last refreshed, based on the card configuration selected by the user.
- This helps users move from a high-level fleet summary to a more detailed operational view without leaving the map.
In short, the left-side cards always stay synced with the current map view. When you are zoomed out, the cards show broader summaries, such as state-level totals. When you zoom in, the cards update to show more detailed entity-level information for what is currently visible on the map. When you zoom out again, Fleet View returns to higher-level clusters, and the left-side cards switch back to those broader summaries.
Using travel groups
Travel groups track which vehicles, drivers, and assets are traveling together. This feature is useful for monitoring movements and improving coordination.
In high-density areas or when zoomed out, nearby vehicles may appear grouped as a cluster on the map. Click a cluster to expand and view individual vehicles on the left side panel.
Viewing fleet data
Use the filtering tools to quickly narrow down the fleet data you need.
- Search: Locate vehicles, drivers, assets, geofences, or locations.
- Filters: Apply filters by entity type, motion status, duty status, dispatch, and MIL.
-
All Groups: Find entities more quickly and order the list for the preferred option. You can also use the given filters to customize your search.
Statuses and icons
Fleet View uses different statuses and icons to indicate activity:
- Moving: Vehicle is actively moving.
- Idle: Vehicle is on but has not moved in 3 minutes.
- Stationary: Vehicle or asset is stopped with the engine off.
- Stale: Location data is outdated.
Each status has a unique icon for quick identification.
- Legend: The Legend explains what each icon and its color indicate:
Using map view and map controls
The map is now more interactive, allowing you to filter what you see and get instant data on specific areas.
-
Dynamic Fleet Counter: Look at the sidebar to see a live count of your Drivers, Vehicles, and Assets. These numbers change in real-time as you move the map or zoom in, showing you exactly how many units are in the area you are currently viewing.
- Geofence and Site Categories: You can now choose to show specific types of locations on your map. Click the Geofence icon (on the right side of the map) to select categories like Fuel Stations, Job Sites, or Risk Zones. The map will display icons for these locations and show you the total number for each category.
- Zoom-to-Focus: When you zoom in on a specific city, neighborhood, or yard, the left sidebar automatically updates. It will filter the list to show only the drivers and vehicles that are currently within your map view.
-
Map Layers: Switch between Street, Satellite, and Traffic views to get a better sense of the terrain and road conditions your drivers are facing.
Using Vehicle Follow Mode
