The Driver Summary page on the Fleet Dashboard provides a comprehensive view of a driver's performance, activity, and key details. It integrates seamlessly into Motive’s suite of products to help fleet managers effectively monitor and manage their drivers.
Overview
Consolidated visibility: Offers driver information and performance across Hours of Service, Compliance, Safety Score, and other key metrics in a single view.
Proactive management: Surfaces recent activity, violations, and pending actions so managers can quickly follow up and resolve issues.
Actionable insights: Highlights trends and outliers in driver behavior to support targeted coaching and performance improvement.
Integrated context: Connects logs, trips, safety events, and assignments to give a full operational context for every driver.
Basics
Key components of a driver Summary page are the following:
- Profile Picture: Taken from face match. If face match is not enabled, initials are shown.
Driver Details: Editable by Fleet Managers via the Edit button on the driver Summary page.
| Note: Tenure is a new field for driver accounts that is calculated using the start date of a driver. If the start date is empty, the Tenure box in the driver profile remains empty. |
- Hours of Service: Provides a 30-day snapshot of the driver's Hours of Service, with a link to the hub-specific page to dive deeper.
- Compliance: Shows a 30-day snapshot of the driver's logs, with links to the hub-specific pages to dive deeper.
Safety Score: Provides a 30-day snapshot of the driver’s safety score, with a link to the hub-specific page to dive deeper.

- Action Center: Displays pending action items for the Driver across the platform.
Quick Links: Provides links to reports ranging from driver activity, compliance, and HOS recap to log audits.
- Motive Card: Provides a 30-day snapshot of the driver's spending summary, with a link to the hub-specific page to dive deeper.
- Fuel Performance: Provides insights into drive time, idling with PTO, and idling without PTO over the last 30 days.
Recent Activity: Provides multiple tabs to view recent logs, safety and speeding events, trips, inspections, transactions, and documents.
Viewing the driver summary
1. Log in to the Motive Fleet Dashboard and go to Fleet View.
2. Click Drivers and select the driver profile you want to view the summary for.
3. Click Summary to view the driver summary page.
