The Vehicle Summary 2.0 introduces a redesigned, unified, and data-rich experience for viewing and managing vehicle information. It brings together key vehicle insights from across the Motive platform, including Compliance, Safety, Maintenance, and Fuel, into a single, easy-to-navigate view.

Overview

The updated experience helps fleet managers and admins make faster, more informed decisions by:

  • Providing a single source of truth for all vehicle-related data.
  • Offering at-a-glance visibility into key metrics, recent activity, and performance trends.
  • Reducing time spent switching between modules by centralizing insights in one view.
  • Delivering a consistent, modern interface aligned with other areas of the Motive platform.

Vehicle Summary 2.0 improves operational visibility, decision-making, and overall user experience by combining comprehensive data with intuitive navigation.

Using the Vehicle Summary tab

Accessible via Fleet View > Vehicles > Summary on the Fleet Dashboard, Vehicle Summary 2.0 serves as a central hub. It provides a single point of access for navigating to various vehicle-related sections of the platform, enabling smooth transitions between associated data and actions.

Summary bar

Displays clear, at-a-glance metadata about the vehicle, allowing fleet managers to quickly assess key details such as status, assigned driver, and location.

Action center

Provides a consistent user interface with progressive enhancements to simplify workflows, surface actionable insights, and streamline vehicle management tasks.

Vehicle-specific charts

Includes visual trends and summaries for Fuel, Utilization, Inspections, and Motive Card activity, helping you easily monitor performance and identify patterns.

Recent activity

Shows a preview of the latest updates from each section to help identify recent changes or important events related to the vehicle.

Quick links

Organized into two sections, Documents and Reports, to make related information easily accessible for deeper review or recordkeeping.
