North America Privacy Blurring

North America privacy blurring is designed for fleets in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This feature automatically detects and blurs faces and license plates, but is fully configurable at both the fleet and vehicle levels.

Overview

Privacy blurring is designed to help fleets strengthen privacy protection and comply with regional data laws. It works by:

  • Protecting sensitive information by blurring faces and license plates in road-facing and driver-facing footage.
  • Enhancing privacy controls for North America regions with configurable blurring options for both road-facing and driver-facing cameras.
  • Maintaining auditability with logs for all blurring actions, stored for at least 12 months.
  • Ensuring accuracy and safety through fallback logic that blurs entire figures or vehicles when PII cannot be precisely detected.
