Door Sensor Events Report

The Door Sensor Events Report gives fleet managers a detailed view of door-open activity for vehicles and assets. It helps teams review when door events occurred, where they happened, who was assigned at the time, and whether video recall is available.

Viewing the Door Sensor Events report

1. Log in to the Fleet Dashboard and click Reports in the left-hand side menu. 

2. Under the Browse section, click Security

3. Click Door Sensor Events to view the report.  

The report is empty when it first loads by design. To generate results, select:

  • A date range
  • At least one entity: vehicle, asset, or driver

You can also optionally filter the report by Video Recall Status:

  • Processing
  • Complete
  • Failed

Each row in the report represents one door-open event and includes the following details:

  • Event Start Time: The date and time when the door opened
  • Event Duration: How long the door remained open
  • Door Sensor: The sensor ID and location, for example, Zone 1 - Front
  • Location: The street address where the event occurred
  • Geofence: The geofence the vehicle was in, if available
  • Vehicle / Asset: The vehicle or asset involved in the event
  • Driver: The driver assigned at the time of the event
  • Video Recall Status: Completed, In Progress, or Failed
  • Video Link: A View video recall link when the recall is complete

You can export the report from the three-dot menu as either a CSV or PDF file.

The exported file also includes a direct URL to the video footage in a separate column.
