Introduction
Fleet Managers and Fleet Admins can enable vehicle follow mode from their Fleet Dashboard. Currently, this option is only available for fleets with more than 20 Vehicle Gateways on their account with Motive.
| Note: For fleets who are not enabled to use the ELD product, the Follow Mode button does not display. The map style in this case defaults to user preference. |
Steps: Using vehicle follow mode on Fleet Dashboard
1. Log into the Motive Fleet Dashboard. The Fleet View displays. Select a vehicle using the search bar, and other filters.
You can also select a specific vehicle from the Vehicles tab on Fleet View. Click a vehicle to view its details with the Live tab opened by default.
| Note: Pan the map to exit the follow mode automatically. You can view the vehicle details mentioned on the vehicle's page displaying speed, fuel, etc. for some vehicles. |
3. To exit the follow mode, click Exit Follow Mode.
- The entity is stationary.
- The fleet clicks the Exit Follow Mode button.
- The fleet pans the map while follow mode is enabled.
