Overview
The Notification Center brings alerts from the Fleet Dashboard, Fleet App, and Driver App into one organized stream. This makes it easier to track important events, navigate to details, and take timely action.
- Centralized view: All alerts are collected in one location so you do not need to check multiple tools. This reduces the chance of missing critical updates.
- Easy filtering: Quick filters let you focus on important notifications first. This helps you prioritize urgent tasks over routine updates.
- Seamless navigation: Each alert links directly to the relevant page or action. This saves time and ensures you can address issues immediately.
- Efficient management: You can mark items as read individually or clear the list at once. This keeps your notification feed organized and easy to review.
Opening the Notification Center
Fleet Dashboard
- In the Motive Dashboard, click the bell icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
- The Notifications panel slides out from the right side of the page, showing your most recent alerts first.
- Use the tabs All Notifications or Important to filter your alerts.
- Click Mark all as read to clear unread notifications.
Fleet App
- Click the bell icon to open the notification center on the Fleet App. A red dot appears on the bell icon when there are new notifications.
- View recent alerts and toggle between All and Important tabs.
- Swipe right and tap Mark as read to mark the notification as read.
- Swipe up the bottom menu to Mark All as Read or Adjust Notification Settings.
Driver App
- Open the Motive Driver App and tap the hamburger menu icon in the top-left corner.
- Select Notifications from the sidebar to open the Notification Center.
- View recent alerts and toggle between All and Important tabs.
- Swipe up the bottom menu to Mark All as Read or Adjust Notification Settings.

Using filters
- Click Filter and choose Important to view only high-priority alerts.
- Select an alert to open the related page for full details and next steps.
Managing notifications
- To mark an alert as read, either open it or select Mark as read from the list.
- To clear all new indicators at once, select Mark all as read.
- Read alerts remain in the feed for historical reference so you can return to them later.
