Introduction
The NexGen integration with Motive enables companies within the heavy equipment rental industry to improve employee’s efficiency, streamline job scheduling, quoting, and billing. It lets you improve while saving time, improving accuracy, increasing revenue, and maintaining safety.
Integration Benefits
- GPS Integration – Increases accuracy and automates the preventative maintenance cycle by importing engine hours and odometer readings into NexGen’s maintenance module. This prevents human errors in data entry and ensures your fleet is always current on preventative maintenance.
- Ensures safety by tracking, monitoring, and maintaining all certifications within NexGen.
System Requirements
NexGen
- The system version requirement for Nexgen is to have a minimum version 2021.2.8.0.
Motive
- Nexgen integration is built on Private Key.
- Subscription Plan: Starter, Pro and Enterprise plan at Motive.
Steps: Enabling NexGen integration with Motive App Marketplace
To enable the integration, select the tile on the Motive App Marketplace.
1. Visit the Motive App Marketplace or go to the App Marketplace tab via the Fleet Dashboard.
2. Click Get this App on the NexGen maintenance tile.
3. Click Install to give permissions to share your data with NexGen.
4. Your request is now submitted to our API Support team.
5. Now the support team creates an API key for you and reaches out to you. You can share the key to the partner to give them access.
