How to edit or reset Driver’s profile password on Fleet Dashboard

Introduction

Fleet Admins can reset the Driver’s profile password from the Fleet Dashboard.

Note: Motive Support can't reset passwords on behalf of our users for security reasons. Users can do it themselves or ask their fleet manager/admin to change it for them.

Steps: Editing or Resetting the Driver’s Profile Password

1. Log in to the Motive Fleet Dashboard and click the Admin icon in the left-hand side menu.

2. Click the Organisation dropdown and select Drivers from the list.

3. Click the Options dropdown menu for the Driver profile whose password needs to be changed.

4. Select Edit Account from the dropdown menu.

5. Scroll down and find the Password section. Enter a new password and click Save.

Motive's Password Policy

Beginning March 23, 2023, all new users and current users who are resetting their passwords should have a password containing:

 • Minimum 8 characters
 • Must include 1 letter
 • Must include 1 digit
