How to Add a Driver When the Email is Already Taken?

    Add a driver to your company through the Motive Fleet Dashboard so they can connect themselves to a Vehicle Gateway on their Motive Driver App when the email is already taken. In this case, it means that the email is already associated with the driver's previous account. You can go for the following steps according to your situation:

    1. You can use the driver's secondary email that they have never used with Motive, or if they are no more working with the previous company, please ask them to reach out to us on our 24/7 support helpline at (855)434-3564, to get the email released for a new profile's use. 
    2. If they do not want their old account to be deactivated then you have the option to leave the email section and create the driver's account by creating a username instead so that they will be able to log in with the username and password under your company from the Motive Driver App.
