    Q: What amount can I fuel for?

    Answer

    The maximum amount you can fuel is determined by the available limit on your Motive Card at the time of the transaction. It is the lesser of your available tank capacity or the available limit on your card.

     

    Q: When and how will I be charged?

    Answer

    You will be charged immediately after the transaction is complete. The Motive Card associated with the Driver/vehicle that requested the code will be charged.

     

    Q: How will I identify which Driver and vehicle are involved in a Motive Code transaction?

    Answer

    The Motive Card associated with the Driver/vehicle that requested the code will be charged, allowing you to identify the Driver and vehicle involved in the transaction.

     

    Q: Will I receive rebates on this transaction?

    Answer

    Yes, you will receive rebates on Motive Code transactions in the same way you receive rebates on regular Motive Card transactions at Love's.

     

    Q: Can I use Motive Code for both pump and in-store purchases?

    Answer

    Yes, you can use Motive Code for both pump and in-store purchases at Love's. If your fleet is approved for cash advances, you can also use this method for cash advances at the fuel desk.

     

    Q: Will my Spend Profile apply to Motive Code transactions?

    Answer

    Yes, your Spend Profiles and restrictions will apply to Motive Code transactions.

     

    Q: Will my transaction requirements apply to Motive Code transactions?

    Answer

    Yes, your transaction requirements will apply to Motive Code transactions.

     

    Q: Can I use my Vehicle Card to perform transactions using Motive Code?

    Answer

    Yes, you can use your Vehicle Card for Motive Code transactions. Once you have assigned the vehicle card to yourself, you will see an option to Request Motive Code under the Vehicle Card in the Driver App.

     

    Q: Will the Driver need to unlock the card?

    Answer

    No, the card will remain locked as a card swipe is not required for Motive Code transactions.

     

    Q: Will the standard Motive Card work to make Motive Code transactions?

    Answer

    No, the standard Motive Card will not work for Motive Code transactions because a swipe is not required.
