Fleet admins can order additional Motive Cards and track order status directly in the Motive Dashboard. Managing card inventory ensures drivers have the spending tools they need without delay.

Order and track Motive Cards from the Motive Dashboard to equip drivers with new or replacement cards while maintaining full visibility and control.
- Streamline card management: Order new or replacement cards in just a few clicks from within the Motive Dashboard. This helps you quickly equip drivers with the tools they need to make authorized purchases.
- Enhance security: All cards are shipped to verified business addresses to reduce the risk of loss or fraud. This ensures cards are only sent to approved locations connected to your account.
- Maintain visibility: Track each card order from placement to delivery directly in the dashboard. This eliminates guesswork and helps you plan for driver needs in advance.
- Stay informed: Review clear status updates for every order so you know exactly where each card is in the process. This helps you respond quickly if additional steps or documentation are required.
Ordering additional Motive Cards

In the Fleet Dashboard, go to Admin > Cards > Orders.

Click Order Cards. Select the reason for ordering additional cards from the drop-down menu and the number of cards needed.
- Choose a shipping address:
- Select an existing, verified address, or
- Click Add New Address and upload verification documents
- If adding a new address, a couple of things to provide:
- A copy of the requester’s Driver’s license (mandatory)
- Include either a bank statement or a utility bill. Add the company’s name and address

Click Confirm.
Motive will review any new address documentation. Once approved, cards will be shipped to the selected address.
To track a Motive Card order:
- In the Fleet Dashboard, go to Admin > Cards > Orders.

Locate your order in the list. The current status will appear next to each order.
Order statuses
- Processing: Order received and being prepared.
- Pending verification: Additional documentation required for a new address.
- Shipped: Cards have been dispatched.
- Delivered: Cards have arrived at the shipping address.
Adding a new Shipping Address
1. During the process of ordering a new physical card, a dropdown menu displays a list of verified Shipping addresses. Fleet Admins have added these addresses previously to their application and card replacement requests.

3. To add a new shipping address, select New Shipping Address.
4. Complete the required information for the New shipping address.
5. Enter the City, State, and ZIP Code.
6. Click Choose file to upload a verification document. Acceptable documents include bank statements, utility bills, lease/rental agreements (with a signature page), or insurance statements.
| Note: The selected file should be in PDF or JPEG format, with a maximum file size of 5 MB. |
7. Click Place Order after entering all the information.
8. The Order is placed and a screen displays the order details.

How long does it take to receive Motive Cards?
Most orders arrive within 7–10 business days after approval.
What documents are required to add a new shipping address?
One of the following: bank statement, utility bill, lease/rental agreement (with signature page), or insurance statement, plus a copy of the requester’s driver’s license.
Can I order Motive Cards to multiple addresses?
Yes, you can select or verify different addresses for each order.
What happens if address verification is denied?
You’ll be notified to resubmit acceptable documentation.
Can I cancel a card order after placing it?
If the order is still in Processing, you may be able to cancel by contacting Motive Support.
