UpKeep integration with Motive App Marketplace

Introduction

The integration enables seamless synchronization between fleet telematics and maintenance management, ensuring proactive fleet maintenance, reduced downtime, and improved operational efficiency.

Integration Benefits

  • Automated fault codes sync: The integration monitors vehicle health and detects fault codes related to engine performance, emissions, transmission, and other critical systems. When a fault code is detected, the integration automatically generates a work request in UpKeep, ensuring that maintenance teams receive updates about potential issues.
  • Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs) sync: Drivers complete DVIR in Motive during pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) from Motive are automatically pushed to UpKeep, providing maintenance teams with insights into vehicle conditions and safety issues. Inspection results include critical pieces of information such as defects, priority, and category, which are synchronized with UpKeep.
  • Asset and vehicle data sync: Vehicles and assets in Motive are synced directly with UpKeep, ensuring consistency in asset management to keep fleet information consistent across both systems.
  • User and group synchronization: Motive’s users and groups are mapped directly to UpKeep users and teams, ensuring proper access control and responsibility assignments.

Steps: Enabling UpKeep Integration with Motive App Marketplace

1.  Log in to the Motive Fleet Dashboard and click Marketplace.

2. Search for UpKeep in the search bar.

3. Click to open the UpKeep tile.

4. Click Install.

5. A pop-up banner appears, click Install.

6. The support team contacts the fleets for the next step.
