Introduction
Motive is bringing the Performance Hub experience into the Driver App by evolving the existing Safety Hub into a broader driver performance workspace. This release gives drivers one place to review their performance and complete their outstanding tasks across safety and AI Coach Performance recaps while laying the foundation for the addition of unproductive idling tasks both in the task list and within Performance recaps (coming soon). It also aligns the Driver App with the Performance Hub already introduced on the Fleet Dashboard.
What’s New?
- Safety Hub is now Performance Hub: The existing Safety Hub entry point in the Driver App is renamed to Performance Hub, including updated navigation and labeling. This reflects the product’s broader scope beyond safety-only workflows.
- Expanded driver performance surface: The existing safety score and driver experience to review safety tasks remain available as is, but now sit within a broader Performance Hub that can support additional driver performance areas over time beyond safety.
How does this help our customers?
- One place to take action: Drivers can review their most important performance tasks in one workspace instead of moving between separate surfaces of the Driver App.
- Less friction for drivers: A simpler, more consistent flow reduces cognitive load and makes it easier for drivers to complete performance tasks in short sessions during their workday.
- Broader performance support: By moving beyond a safety-only framing, organizations can support coaching across more driver performance areas from a single Driver App hub.
