Asset Gateway Solar (AG-55)
The Asset Gateway Solar (previously referred to as Asset Gateway Max) is Motive's first-generation asset tracking device. It features a gray enclosure with a built-in solar panel for passive charging.
The AG-55 supports cable power via Cable 4020 and integrates with Thermo King reefer units. It captures GPS and telematics data but does not provide CAN bus error codes or vehicle diagnostics, which require a Vehicle Gateway.
Asset Gateway Solar is identified by the model number AG-55. There are no further sub-versions for this model.
| Note: The Asset Gateway Solar (AG-55) devices have been discontinued. No remaining inventory is available for purchase. Existing devices in the field are still supported. For new deployments, Motive recommends the Asset Gateway Mini (AG-31). |
