Performance Hub and Safety Score in the Driver App

For customers on the Pro or Enterprise Plan subscription, fleet admins have the option to give drivers visibility into their safety performance directly within the Motive Driver App through Performance Hub.

Within the Performance Hub, drivers can:

  • View their current Safety Score
  • Self-coach by reviewing all coachable video safety events they have generated

You also have the option for Motive to automatically send the driver a push notification via the Driver App once a coachable safety event is generated. This notification lets the driver know they have coachable events to review. Learn more here.

Basics

  1. Log in to the Motive Driver App.
  2. To view the Performance Hub, tap the hamburger icon and select Performance.
  1. OR Scroll down on the Driver App homescreen and tap Performance.
  1. Performance Hub displays the driver’s Safety Score details and safety tasks to be reviewed.
  2. The Safety Score widget displays:
    • Current safety score of the driver for the indicated period (rolling 4-week window).
    • The number of points the Safety Score has increased or decreased from the previous week.
  3. Underneath the Safety Score, the top three behaviors impacting the Safety Score are mentioned with the subsequent impact value. The arrows indicate a change in impact from the previous score period. A red up arrow indicates an increase in impact, whereas a green down arrow indicates a decrease in impact.
  1. To review a Safety task, tap the individual task. This takes you directly into the task detail view, which includes all coachable events generated for that behavior that have not been reviewed.
  1. Tap Mark as reviewed once you are finished.
