Introduction
Motive’s Remote Tachograph Download (RTD) solution allows UK/EU customers to connect their AIDC+ to compatible digital tachographs via a dedicated tachograph or FMS cable and download driver and vehicle files from Motive’s Compliance Hub.
What’s New?
- Automatic remote tachograph file downloads: Once fleets send a copy of their company cards, they are hosted in Lisle’s securely operated card rack for remote authentication. Driver files are downloaded daily and vehicle files are downloaded weekly helping fleets continuously meet the 28‑day driver and 90‑day vehicle requirements.
- Tachograph files surfaced in the Compliance Hub: Fleets can view, filter, download, and share driver and vehicle files from the Compliance Hub in the Fleet Dashboard. Colour-coded indicators show file retrieval status from tachograph to cloud against regulatory due dates for fast compliance checks.
- Standard DDD files and APIs: Motive assembles files into industry-standard DDD format and stores them in the Motive cloud for the configured retention period. Customers can access DDD files via public APIs to feed existing tachograph analysis or compliance systems.

- Integrate with existing tachograph tools: Fleets can keep using their preferred tachograph analysis solutions by pulling DDD files from Motive via APIs.
