This article shows the steps for changing an assigned asset gateway on an asset profile using your fleet admin dashboard. This can be used for replacing an old asset gateway with a new one on your existing asset profile.
Step1: login to your Fleet Admin Dashboard and click on the ‘Admin’ button.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Assets’ button shown in the menu on the left hand side.
Step 3: Click on the three dots next to the asset and select ‘Edit Asset’.
Step 4: Scroll down to the Data Source section and click on the ‘Remove’ button next to the assigned AG's serial number.
Step 5: Click on ‘Assign Asset Gateway’
Step 6: Select the serial number of the new asset gateway and click ‘Assign’.
Step 7: Click the ‘Save’ button on the top right corner.
