Personal conveyance can be used when the Driver is off-duty. A few examples of where personal conveyance can be used are mentioned below:
1. Driving from the hotel to a restaurant or a movie.
2. Going home from the terminal or a trailer lot after work.
3. When the Driver has reached a truck stop but has less drive time remaining. He can then use personal conveyance to reach the nearest or the next truck stop while carrying the loads.
4. Moving the truck if a safety officer asks to, while off-duty.
5. Driving an empty coach bus to a hotel or restaurant.
6. Transporting personal stuff while off-duty.
