What are pending transactions?

Answer

Any Transactions made with a Motive Card can show a status of " Pending " for up to 48 - 72 hours. During this time the fleet admin can reach out to merchant support services for the following requests:

  • Fast-Track Pending Transactions
  • Cancel any transaction
  • Pre-Authorization Hold on Fuel & Amount
  • Service issues. 

Merchants should provide the Purchase details for transaction status updates such as:

  • Category
  • Total amount
  • Fuel Discounts (if any)
Note: Accommodation, Hotels, or Rental Transactions can show pending for up to 30 Days.
