The Motive Shop is Motive’s e-commerce platform that enables Fleet Admins to self-serve orders for additional product bundles, cables, and accessories in a few clicks. Fleets can purchase the products they have already bought from Motive, in addition to calling the cables and accessories. Also, the Motive Shop is accessible to Fleet Admins by default.
How Motive Shop Helps You
Fleets can use the Motive Shop to browse Motive’s product range and purchase additional quantities of products they already have. Also, it enables the Fleets to complete their purchases with ease, speed, and convenience without contacting the Motive sales or support team.

Motive Shop Overview
The Motive Shop offers a secure and transparent platform to purchase additional quantities of Motive product bundles, cables and accessories without contacting Motive Sales or Support.
- The search bar at the Motive Shop's top header helps to search product names and categories.
- Each product has its details mentioned on the right-hand side and helpful Resources mentioned at the bottom.
- The top right cart icon displays the product you have added to the cart. Once finalized, you can click Checkout.

Purchasing cables and accessories from Motive Shop
When the cable to purchase is known
1. Log in to Fleet Dashboard and click the Admin icon in the bottom left corner.
2. Click Shop from the left-hand side menu.
3. On the homepage, the top header has 2 categories:
⦁ Cables: These are all the cables that are required to connect Motive products to the vehicles.
⦁ Accessories: These include Dashcam Service kits, camera mounts, and other related items.
4. Click Cables and the cables listing page appears on the screen.

5. Alternatively, if you know the name of the cable, use the search bar at the top-right corner of the page. If you are unsure which cable to purchase, follow the steps outlined in the next section: Finding the right cable when unsure.
6. Click the required cable to purchase.
| Note: The maximum quantity for any product is limited to 100 per order. This means you can order up to 100 units of each product in a single order. To purchase larger quantities, please reach out to your AE. |
7. Click Add to cart. A fading message appears on the screen confirming that the products have been added to the cart.
8. Click the cart icon on the top right corner of the screen.
9. The Shopping Cart screen displays. Verify the products, quantities, and pricing here.
10. Click Proceed to checkout. The checkout screen has 3 important sections:
- Shipping Information: By default, the shipping address is the billing address on the account. Change it and provide a one-time shipping address for the current order.

- Shipping Method: Choose one of the three options.
- Payment Method: If you pay for Motive Orders using a credit card or ACH, you can see your default payment details reflected against the Payment Method.
| Note: You can also update your default payment method. If you choose to, please bear in mind that all your future billing will be charged to the updated payment method. |
11. If you pay through a Purchase Order (PO), you can see an input field for the PO Number. Please input the PO number against which you are placing the order.
12. If you use a Check to pay for Motive Products, simply input Pay by Check in the PO Number field.
13. Once all the required inputs have been entered, click the Review Order button, and the Order Review page appears.

14. Once reviewed, scroll down to the Terms and Conditions section. It is required to scroll down to the bottom of the Terms and Conditions section.
| Note: This is the equivalent of the DocuSign process that you are familiar with when placing orders with Motive. |
15. Scroll down to the bottom of the Terms and Conditions section. Two checkboxes appear, asking for your consent to the order terms.
16. Check both boxes, then click Place Order to submit your order to Motive.
17. You are directed to the Order Confirmation screen, confirming that your order has been received by Motive.
18. Shortly after, you receive an email confirmation with your order details and next steps.
19. To purchase accessories such as Dashcam kits and camera mounts, click Accessories in the top header and follow the same steps.
Finding the right cable when unsure
1. Follow steps 1 through 5 in the above section.
2. If you are unsure which cable to purchase for the vehicle, use our Cable Selector tool by clicking the link Find the right cable at the top of the cables page.
3. A cable selector window pops- up as shown below. Enter your vehicle information by Make, Model, Year, or VIN. Click Add.
4. The tool shows the right matching cables for the vehicle. Select the desired quantity of the cable based on the description and image.
5. Once done, go back to the above section and follow steps 7 through 19.
FAQs
What products can I buy from Motive Shop?
The Motive Shop features all Motive products. However, you can only purchase additional quantities of product bundles that you have already purchased before. You can also buy all cables and accessories without any restrictions.
Is there any refund/return policy for Motive Shop products?
Yes, contact Motive Support if you require a refund/return for any product purchased through the Motive Shop. Once your case is verified and approved for a refund/return, you’re given an RMA case number for follow-up on your refund/return.

Can I see the current status and history of my orders at Motive Shop?
When an order is placed on Motive Shop, we send emails to update the status of your order, shipping details, etc. Also, you can get your order updates by reaching out to the Motive support team.

Shipping options for Motive Shop
Motive offers standard, express, and overnight shipping methods. The cost and delivery time vary depending on the chosen method.
Shipping costs are calculated based on your order's weight, volume, and destination, and an estimate is provided during checkout.
Can I use Motive Shop for the replacement of products?
No, currently Motive Shop doesn’t support replacements. In case you want to replace any Motive product, contact Motive Support.
Are there any eligibility criteria to use Motive Shop?
Currently, Motive Shop is available to existing Motive customers based in the United States and Canada. If you are an ENT/STRAT customer and need access to Motive Shop, please reach out to your account team.
Fleets in these segments can re-purchase the existing products through Motive Shop if they align with the following conditions:
- Active, direct contract with Motive, valid for more than 3 months (not vendor-financed).
- No active insurance subsidies on the contract.
- The account is not in the deny list (for various reasons such as delinquency, missed payments, etc.)
Which countries does Motive Shop ship to?
Currently, Motive Shop is available for accounts based in United States and Canada only.
What payment methods are supported on Motive Shop?
Motive Shop supports the default payment method that is set up on your account. This includes credit card, ACH, Bank Transfer, Check, and Purchase Order.

How Secure Is Shopping With Motive Shop?
- Your security is our top priority at Motive. We use advanced encryption and follow all industry standards to protect your payment information.
- We do not collect any additional information (no cookies tracking, etc.) when you buy products using Motive Shop.
- Once you place an order on Motive Shop, we use the same billing, invoicing, and shipping processes as for the direct orders.
- We use an industry-standard, easy-to-use digital clickwrap (similar to DocuSign) to get your consent to our terms and conditions when you buy through Motive Shop.
Is There Any Minimum Or Maximum Order Quantity for Motive Shop?
There is no minimum order quantity set for Motive Shop, allowing customers to purchase as per their requirements.
To maintain product availability and fair distribution, the maximum quantity of any product/SKU that can be purchased in an order is set to 100 units.

Can I Schedule A Motive Shop Delivery For A Future Date?
No, Motive Shop doesn't offer order delivery for a scheduled future date. After placing your order, you’re notified about the estimated delivery time.
Can I Save Products in the Motive Shop Cart and Purchase Them Later?
Yes, products added to the Motive Shop cart remain there until you complete the purchase or remove them.
