Why the rebates are not applied on my transaction?

    Answer

    Sometimes rebates may not be applied to a transaction due to various reasons. The reasons are as follows:

    1. The merchant is a non-partner location.

    2. The merchant is considered a partner location, but the transaction category doesn't accurately reflect the type of purchase. For instance, a Diesel transaction might be categorized as 'Misc', meaning the applicable Diesel rebate may not apply to that specific transaction.

    Note: The merchant sends the transaction categories directly, and Motive doesn't modify or input them.

    3. The merchant is a partner location e.g. Love's but the rebates are still not applied, that particular location is not in our partner plan.

    Note: Motive Cards are partnered with numerous merchants. To find partner locations, use the savings finder on the Driver App.

    4. Rebates become available in the coming invoice once the invoice is fully paid on time.
