The integration with Slack automates workflows between Slack and Motive platforms. By leveraging this integration, automated workflows can be created that connect specific triggers in Motive with corresponding actions in Slack, streamlining operations and reducing manual data entry.

 

Integration Benefits

  • Enhanced team communication by automatically reflecting essential fleet data from Motive in Slack. 
  • Receive instant notifications directly within Slack by selecting and defining specific triggers. For example, when compliance or safety events such as a near-collision occur in Motive, alerts can be instantly generated in Slack, allowing fast responses.

Steps: Enabling Slack Integration with Motive App Marketplace

1.  Log in to the Motive Fleet Dashboard and click Marketplace.

2. Search for Slack in the search bar.

3. Click to open the tile.

4. Click Install.

5. A pop-up banner appears. Click Install.

6. The support team contacts the fleets for the next steps.
