Introduction
Limiting transactions to when the vehicle is away from the merchant station enhances Cards security by preventing unauthorized use and fraud. When auto-decline feature is enabled, it automatically declines Motive Card transactions as a result of this location mismatch. However, in case of emergencies, Drivers can request the Fleet Manager to disable this security setting for specific cards.
Steps: Disabling Auto-decline Vehicle & spend location mismatch feature
1. Log in to the Fleet Dashboard and click the Admin icon at the bottom left corner.
2. Click the Products dropdown from the left-hand side menu.
3. Click Cards.
4. Click Card Management.
5. A list of Cards with different security settings appears on the screen.
6. The Auto-decline settings are enabled as shown under the Security column.
7. Select the card for which you want to disable the Auto-decline vehicle & spend location mismatch.
8. Click three dots on the right under the Actions column.
9. Click Edit security settings from the dropdown menu.
10. Edit security settings screen appear. Notice that the Auto-decline feature is enabled for this card.
11. Uncheck the box to disable the Auto-decline transactions feature.
12. Click Save.
13. Now, go back to the Card Management section. Notice that the Auto-decline feature is disabled for your selected card.
