The Fuel & IFTA Settings page in the Motive Dashboard enables fleet managers to track fuel usage, ensure compliance, and optimize fuel consumption.

Customizing fuel and IFTA settings

  1. In the Fleet Dashboard, go to Admin > Fuel.
  2. Review your current settings and select the fuel tracking setup that best fits your fleet.

  3. Scroll to the Long Idling section. 

  4. Choose your preferred idling threshold (for example, 10 minutes).

  5. Click Save to apply changes. 

Creating idling alerts

  1. In the Fleet Dashboard, go to Admin > Alerts.

  2. Click + Create alert. 

  3. Adjust notification preferences based on your fleet’s needs.
