Thermo King integration for Refrigerated Trailers/Thermo King Reefers

Introduction

The Thermo King API integration with Motive is designed for customers who operate Thermo King reefer units (refrigerated trailers) in their fleet. This integration enables monitoring and controlling Thermo King reefers directly from the Motive dashboard, alongside other reefers like Thermo King units and those equipped with Motive Environmental Sensors.

Integration Benefits

Easy setup: Factory-fitted modems on Thermo King Reefers (2021 and newer models) do not require Motive hardware.
Unified platform: Customers who integrate Thermo King with Motive can track all of their equipment using Motive software and Thermo King. Motive becomes the source of truth.
Data access: Customers can access critical asset and safety data, making informed decisions about temperature control and Reefer Operating modes.
Powerful reporting tools: Customers have full visibility into their fleet and can easily transform this raw data into actionable insights.

Motive

API login credentials will be procured by Motive.
Customers can contact their account manager or account executive to obtain them.

Steps: Integrating Thermo King on Motive Dashboard

Log in to the Motive Fleet Dashboard and go to Marketplace > OEM > Thermo King > Learn More.
Click Install.
Add the TracKing Username for Data Monitoring, TracKing Password for Data Monitoring, TracKing Username for Two-Way Control, TracKing External ID, and click Install.
Once the Integration is successfully installed and all Thermo King Reefers are successfully synced into Motive, navigate to Fleet View in the Motive Fleet Dashboard.
Users can control and monitor individual reefers by clicking on them.
