The Device Hub is an integrated solution designed to provide customers with a single, comprehensive view to proactively manage and monitor all their devices (Vehicle Gateway, AI Dashcam, and AI Dashcam Plus) at both vehicle and fleet levels. It streamlines device management and troubleshooting, reducing reliance on manual support.
Overview
- Centralized visibility: A centralized hub for Vehicle Gateways AI Dashcam, and AI Dashcam Plus where fleets can monitor, manage, access, and troubleshoot devices.
- 360° Visibility: Get the status view of all the devices connected to a vehicle in real time.
- Status Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Check device statuses and resolve issues with recommended actions
- Remote Reboot: Conveniently reboot the Vehicle Gateway directly from the dashboard.
- Scalable access control: Manage who can view or take device actions through flexible roles and permissions.
Getting started with the Device Hub
The Device Hub includes the following key tabs to help fleets manage their devices efficiently:
- Overview Tab: Provides a high-level snapshot of device status across the fleet—covering vehicles, gateways, and cameras.
- Vehicles Tab: Offers a vehicle-level view with the status of all devices attached to each vehicle for effective monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Gateways Tab: Displays a device-level view of all Vehicle Gateways across the fleet to monitor connectivity.
- Cameras Tab: Provides a device-level view of all cameras in the fleet to monitor statuses and take proactive actions.

Update the Roles and permissions section in Device Hub
Enabling access to Device Hub
Creating permissions to access Device Hub
- Log in to the Fleet Dashboard and click the Admin icon.
- Go to Fleet Users > Roles and Permissions.
- Click + Create Role.
- Type a name for the new role.
- To enable Device Hub access, check the box for Devices.
- To customize access for specific features, check or uncheck boxes for the following Device hub permissions:
- Reboot Vehicle Gateway
- Reboot AI Dashcam Plus
- Click Create to create the permissions.
Enabling permissions for accessing Workforce Management
- Log in to the Fleet Dashboard and click the Admin icon.
- Go to Fleet Users > Users.
- Select the user(s) to whom you want to permit access to Workforce features and click the three-dot menu.
- Click Edit roles & groups.
- Select the role you created for Device Hub permission.
- Select the group(s).
- Click Save.
