Introduction

ELLA — Enhanced Large Language Assistant — from FleetHub AI is a voice-first AI co-pilot embedded directly in the cab tablet. Unlike fleet management platforms that surface data to dispatchers, ELLA operates where the work actually happens: inside the cab, in real time, supporting drivers with intelligent, proactive guidance before problems escalate into violations, calls to dispatch, or costly delays.

The integration connects ELLA to Motive's telematics stack via API, giving the AI co-pilot live access to ELD status, HOS data, vehicle fault codes, inspection records, location data, and driver safety scorecards. With this data, ELLA can catch unidentified driving, warn drivers before an HOS violation occurs, guide them to legal parking, walk them through inspections, explain fault codes in plain language, and answer app questions on the spot — all by voice, without a phone call to dispatch.

Integration Steps on Motive

  1. Go to the Motive App Marketplace.

  2. In the search bar, search for "ELLA by FleetHub AI".

  3. Click the Install button.

  4. A case is generated for API Support.

  5. API Support confirms consent from the customer and creates the API key.

  6. API Support shares the API key with the customer and adds the FleetHub AI email (support@fleethubai.com) in cc.
