Pro-Vision Multi-Cam DVR in Device Hub

Pro-Vision Multi-Cam DVR and its connected cameras are visible and trackable in Device Hub. This provides fleets a single place to check DVR and camera connectivity alongside their other hardware without having to switch between multiple surfaces.

Note: To use this feature, your fleet must have Pro-Vision hardware connected to a supported vehicle or asset, and users must have access to Device Hub.

Overview

  • Dedicated Multi-Cam DVR view: View Pro-Vision Multi-Cam DVRs in a dedicated Device Hub tab, with DVR-level details and health statuses to help identify and troubleshoot DVR issues timely.

FAQs

What is the difference between a Multi-Cam DVR and a DVR Camera?

What statuses can a Pro-Vision DVR have?

Device Hub uses statuses such as Normal, Setup Incomplete, Powered Off, Other Issues, and Return Device.

Can I view the status history of a Multi-Cam DVR?

Yes. Select a DVR from the Multi-Cam DVR list to view its current details and status history.

Can I live stream or request video from a Pro-Vision DVR in Device Hub?

Pro-Vision is third-party hardware, so Motive-native capabilities such as live preview, in-product video requests, and firmware reporting may be limited or unavailable.

What do I need to use this feature?

Your fleet must have Pro-Vision hardware connected to a supported vehicle or asset, and you must have access to Device Hub.
