Motive automatically identifies coachable events based on severity. This helps Fleet Managers efficiently coach drivers without having to review every individual event.
How it works
When a driver generates a critical or high-severity event, the event is automatically marked as coachable. Once the driver is identified as coachable, the following series of events happen:
- The driver is automatically added to the “Coaching” section in the Safety Hub for the Fleet Manager to begin the coaching workflow.
- The driver is automatically notified to review the video in the Driver App.
- Drivers can then review the event video and mark it as reviewed once self-coaching is completed.
The table below highlights when an event is identified as coachable. Learn more about how event severity is defined here.
